I have no idea what happened from 11:50 yesterday morning until 3:00 in the afternoon yesterday. Had an outpatient procedure done and all I remember is watching the Dr put the syringe into my IV and it was lights out. Have no idea how I got dressed or even got to our car. Kinda remember going through McDonald's drive through. Wife was with me and I told her I was sorry if I was mad or mean when they took me back to the recovery area. She just said I was stubborn and that I almost fell over at least a half dozen times trying to get dressed. I guess an attendant helped get me to our car that my wife pulled up front to get me. I did get an awesome nap in from around 3:30 to 5:30.

Which class?

Dana House had a class A team one year (not sure how they classify them now) that was pretty good, two guys had played on the freshman team for ISU. Then they met up with the Omega Psi Phi fraternity, aka "The Q's". The Q's were the black fraternity and had football players like Matt Blair and Ike Harris on their team. Football players, sure enough, but a number of those guys were REALLY good basketball players. Woof. Was not used to seeing dunks in an intermural game. It was not pretty for the boys of Dana.

Have one kid who has been out of school 3 years, looking to buy a house. Makes sense to me. Now another kid out 3 months taking about it also and that one makes very little sense. She would spend all of her free cash on it and isn’t sure where she will be in 9 months. Guess which one is the spender and drives this cheap rear crazy.
Speaking of which I have a single SIL moving back to town. Now I don't recommend her but she does have a pretty awesome BIL.

Last two times Lew had colonoscopies, post procedure time was highly entertaining. On the one a few years back in 2020, we were doing a challenge of one geocache per day to get us out of the house during shutdowns. He insisted on getting a cache on the way home. So I had one scouted that was pretty easy to reach, and I told him to stay in the car and I would go get it as it was on the fence across the ditch from the gravel road we were on. I get almost there and realize the big dumb cluck was halfway down the slope. I had to practically carry him back to the car. He got an earful on that one!
The most recent one, we got home, he seemed to be doing fine. Alert & talkative. Decided he wanted pizza for a late lunch, early dinner. I questioned his choice, but he insisted. So pizza it was. Twice. Once going in, once coming back up. Really wanted to force him to clean it up, but he went upstairs for a nap.

TL;DR Bottom line, I sympathize your wife!

Who cares as long as you get the Tshirt.
That goal eluded me while at ISU.
I got a class D women's broomball champion t-shirt, one of the ugly year designs, but all the swelled up knees and really late nights were so worth it!
This was on the flooded area north of Beyer Hall with real brooms. None of this modern indoor wussy stuff.

Daughter just learned she got another scholarship. So would it be wrong of me to ask her to put some of that $1500 toward the insurance on her car that we are paying? Her insurance went way up even though she still is a woman and still has a clean driving record.

Well, if the scholarship is paid to the college, it won't be under her control.

The scholarship will pay for some of the college expenses she would be paying out of pocket - freeing up those funds. And yes, we pay for a bunch of her college expenses as well.
OK, just thinking back to when DD went to college. She got several local, etc. scholarships and also received (if I remember correctly) tuition and room and board National Merit Scholarship from ISU. We figured the non-ISU ones could be used for lab fees, books, etc. However, ISU used those to decrease the amount it provided rather than increase the available amount.

And just FYI that the terms of each scholarship determine what it may be used for.
