So why aren't they doing any kind of scrimmage? If I lived in Ames a scrimmage would get me there for sure, but I'm not sure about a 3 pt or dunk contest.

Re: Midnight Madness?

couldn't tell ya, the only reason I joined this forum was to talk some basketball. 27 days.

I think BDK mostly likes to attempt to trash talk. He was an embarrassment on the North Dakota State football fan site for a month before our game.

Re: Midnight Madness?

I wish I had some idea how many people will show up for Hilton Madness. Will we fill Hilton? How early to line up?

Would be good to know. I'm driving over from Cedar Rapids with 2 others and don't want to show up and not be able to get in!

We're probably going to be in Ames by 3 - just not sure if we'll have to stand in line or if we can hit the bars beforehand.

Anyone going to tailgate? That may be the thing to do if it's nice out!

I would like to see Hoiberg take on all comers who would give $100 each to charity to shoot 10 free throws against him.

If I was Pollard, I wouldn't stream it live. You want cheeks in the seats. Even if they end up putting a video of the event on cyclones.tv, I wouldn't announce it prior to the event, for the same reason.

Here's a switch. Stream it live but only to those Cyclones.tv subscribers residing outside the state of Iowa. :spinny::v_SPIN:

lol right up till they found out his real name, exposed him as a huge nerd via facebook and then he begged them to take the information down. It was pretty classic.

I wonder how they found out...seems a little shady. Although I know Deanvogs real name, so I guess I'm not one to talk.

Somewhere in the U.S.
The ISU/Texas fb game is on Cyclones.tv at 7, so I doubt they will have the Hilton Madness before that. My guess would be that it will be recorded and shown later as we get closer to both basketball seasons. Plus, you want a crowd there, so why show it live?

It won't be full. How early you come depends how great of seat you want.

That would be cool. Is it even possible though? Technology-wise?
