The Cubs, Bears and Bulls all get amazing attendance no matter how bad they are. Sox and Blackhawks get good attendance but not when they are horrible. There was a time living there mabe 10-12 years ago when the Bulls and Blackhawks were dead last in both leagues, Bulls were somehow selling out and Blackhawks were giving away free tickets.

Chicago is probably closer to a two franchise city than a one franchise city for NBA, MLB and NFL. If the Bulls didn't have the Jordan legacy I think they'd need to win. People from around the country/world come and want to see where MJ played. Bears tickets will go for double or triple face value when the team is garbage.
Sox get horrible attendance when they're bad.

Haha, what a bunch of whinny millionaires. I guess that most of the guys that complained about Fred coaching being to soft are gone but still, three days to fall apart has to be some sort of record. I certainly don't care and will grab some popcorn.

Like I've said all along, Bulls is gong to suck as long as Gar/Pax is running the show. Fred did best he can with ****** roster he had and maximize their abilities to compete. How does Jerry Reinsdorf not see the core issue?

He has to see it but apparently doesn't care.

They're going to suck until Jordan clones himself and returns as 1992 MJ.

That franchise thinks it's much more than it is. Sportsguy said the Bulls are an elite NBA franchise........really? Not for over 2 decades now

I mean I understand they play a ton of games, and don’t need that much practice, but they maybe got lazy with Fred’s lackadaisical attitude to practice. They might have to work a bit harder than they are used to.
My understanding was they had three games in 4 days and on the 4th day he had them do a high intensity practice. There is a difference between working hard and running people ragged. This is the later.

I’ve seen Boylen compared to Popovich but he understands the difference between working hard and killing a team.

I don't think anyone is free of blame. Boylen is coming on way too strong in his attempts to change the culture. He reminds me of all the Belichick assistants who have landed a head coaching job and sucked because they all tried to be like their former boss.

And Bulls players aren't really in a position to revolt. It's their ****** play that landed them in this spot, so they have little excuse to complain.

Good god. And how do we know this? Just because Boylen is holding them accountable for effort? By all accounts, it was a country club with Fred.

Well one coach was able to take an awful team with injuries to their only real NBA players to an ok bad record. The other has the worst loss in franchise history and almost had the team mutiny. I think it’s pretty safe to say Boylen is the issue on this front. Are these guys deserving of being on NBA rosters? Some of them probably not but that is what the front office has given them.

Boylen thinks he's going to out-Popovich Popovich himself, but everybody is going to look at him like, "Who the **** is this guy?" No credibility.

Totally forgot about this until I was looking at past drafts but the Bulls drafted Gary Harris and Jusuf Nurkic and traded them on draft night for Anthony Randoplh and Doug McDermott.
Although, it looks like they did well with Carter, Jr. and Markannen.

Another infamous trade was Lamarcus Aldridge for Tyrus Thomas.

Fred had a very bad loss earlier this year too.

Boylen has 10x the credibility in the NBA than any of the NBA wanna be scrubs that are on that roster.
