How big is the K-State game now?

Our final 3 games are absolutely terrifying me.
We cannot afford to go 1-3. Doing that, IMO, will give the tourney people enough ammunition to keep us out. And I can't imagine they're going to do us any favors to keep us in over KSU or Texas, due to recent history.
2-2 doesn't look great, but isn't bad, just gotta get it done in the Big XII tourney. Go 3-1, and I can sleep easy knowing there's no way we can be kept out.

I agree. Every game is big, none are the be-all, end-all **unless the unthinkable happened tomorrow, but that's really unthinkable.
Ahhh, but you do know what your opinion is worth on how good the ACC vs the B12 is come selection Sunday, don't you?
I believe the committe thinks the Big 12 is much better than the ACC this year.

Sorry that you are trying to convince everyone that ISU won't make the Tourney this year. Glad you are around here spreading that word. I'm confident that Iowa State will make it this year. Not nervous at all. It's obvious you don't think that.
Frankly the committee doesn't care...conference record, conference affiliation don't matter. Quality wins, schedule strength, road wins, bad losses matter. We don't have enough right now. We need to get some more quality wins to feel comfortable...it has been 10 years since a team with only 3 top 100 wins made the tourney...guess how many top 100 wins we have. People who through out these arbitrary numbers like 20 or 21 wins will get us in do not understand the selection process. Quality wins are far more important than the quantity. If we don't make it, we only have ourselves to blame, we have 4 chances to get more good wins this year, have to cash in.
Ranked #4, 4-1 vs top 25, beat Kansas, Michigan State, and Michigan, and out of 4 losses 3 were by 5 points or less.
Where did I say that ISU won't make the tournament?
Where have I spread that word?
I am proving to you via stats that 21 wins doesn't guarantee a NCAA bid, and that the Big12 is roughly the same as the ACC the last 5 years, via more stats by tournament bids.
Yup, I don't apparently know what I'm talking about.
