How much worse of a PR nightmare does it need to be to make it public?
Holding so much critical information from the district judge resulted in admin taking a huge hit. This was not transparent. With the rubber stamp comments by all, the onus is on Stahle to prove her point.

I haven't followed this closely enough to know and am not sure if they made that public. I do know that the Office of Judicial Affairs tries to keep things close to the vest unless they absolutely have to make something public.
Well, they are at that point.

In response to the OP, Bubu is good enough that we might have been national champions last year if he hadn't switched off Craft in the NCAA tournament. If Bubu had stayed on him, as a guard who typically covers guys like Craft, he probably would have played him more closely and not backed off in anticipation of his drive. Thus, Craft's shot would have been more closely contested.

Granted this is only one play, but it was a biggee.

P.S. I'm not criticizing the switch as the wrong thing to do, but just acknowledging what might have been if he hadn't switched.

Bubu always provided a nice spark. He's a capable ball handler but would get himself in trouble sometimes when he would over...dribble (I figured penetrate may not be the best choice of words.) He also looked to draw contact quite a bit, and when it worked he would usually convert at the line, but it also led to some bad shot selection. He was a capable shooter, but not a great one. Very good on-ball defender.

Reading the comments of some, you would think we are debating if he should start. I have not heard or read one good reason to not give him some minutes if he is physically ready to go. We aren't debating if he should start or be the first one off the bench. But you are telling me he isn't good enough for 6-8 minutes a game?? Come on.

Can't believe there isn't a poll thread on this yet. I sure as hell ain't starting it, but 3 options: No Bubu should not be on the team at all. Yes he can be on the team, but should only be able to practic. Or, yes he should be on the team, and should be able to play as much as Fred sees fit according to playing ability.

can "bubu should play on the women's scout team" be an option?

I say schedule practice when he can't make it, then kick him offfor missing practice.

Most of us watching last year's team are familiar with the bi-polar "Good Korie/Bad Korie" games. Korie was the starter, but there were games where he was a bad pass, missed shot, turnover machine. Bubu is an effective pg, if not top tier. He was was better on defense than Korie was, and like McGee (but to a lesser extent) he was an energy spark for the team. As mentioned, he did a much better job at the B12 tourney than Korie, a fact that Korie himself pointed out.

I don't know how much Bubu's game has/has not improved, but I seriously doubt he would start in the near future. It would not surprise me if he worked his way back into the high rotation, though. Bubu was largely passed over by college scouts as he played in the shadow of Doug & Harrison. Yes, he came to ISU as a walk-on...but he worked his butt off and was rewarded with a scholarship, which was renewed. I have no doubt that, once back in practice mode, he will put in the necessary effort to get himself back to what he was (or should have been) last November when our season started.

I'm not sure which side of the fence I fall on but I'm pretty sure that the "haters" are putting faith in the university's initial stance that he violated the student code of conduct. I don't think that's an outrageous way of thinking.

Initially the appointed administrative law judge ruled that there was no violation of the student code. That "initial stance" was overturned by Leath and then upheld by the BOR. The Webster County district court judge characterized this as something like a rubber stamp of Leath's decision.

He'll play as much as needed just like anybody else. Who cares? Last I heard we had a well paid coach to determine these things based on a myriad of factors. If Bubu is awesome in practice he may get some minutes. If he's not, he may not. He'll help in practice at the very least.

Rocket science.

Bolded part is a great point I haven't seen yet. He can run the scout team point guard because I know Monte is having to do that now. Our scout team guard court is lacking since Bluford left.

I guess I do not see the negatives in bringing Bubu back. Why so much Bubu hate?

I don't hate Bubu, but I hate distractions and this situation is becoming one. All I care about is winning. Could Bubu help us, yes he can, no doubt, will his ability to help us outweigh the distraction I don't know, in fact probably not in my opinion. Im good with what ever Fred decides.

Also for those of you ******** about JP stfu please.
