How many wins will it take next year to keep you hopeful about the program?

Okay Danny Mac.

-One was to an FCS team that actually should have beat us by 20. Doesn't count as a close loss.
-Iowa DOMINATED us in every facet until the fans started to leave, you know, after the game was over. Doesn't count.
-Tech was clearly the better team, we just got every break imaginable to hang with them. Respectable effort but never felt like ISU was going to win. I don't count it but I guess you could.
-Texas and TCU games would fall into the "close loss" category.

Throw in Tech and 3 of our 9 losses were respectable. Only 50% of our games were appalling. Yeah, it's how we lose that's most concerning.

Touche and very well done. Rationalizing is best argued with facts and the truth.BTW, how many first halves did we win?

7 wins or bust. If we don't make a bowl game then I can't be excited for football in the future. Probably should be more than the bare minimum based on what we got for this year.

Honestly sitting around watching these games. If we don't play in a decent bowl if not a new years day bowl the seat gets warm.

Six wins and a bowl game should be ourexpectation. Anything more is great, anything less is failure. That looks kind of harsh, but there is no good reason why we can't win 6.
