I picture the A&M corps similar to this

Their "yell leaders" (guys who looked like painters or bakers in their all-white shirts, pants, shoes) were a head-scratcher to me. Don't recall the year, but I was seated down low in the west stands; A&M scored and one of the "yell leaders" sprinted up the front row waving an Aggies flag to a chorus of jeers from Cyclone fans. The second time he tried it, two big dudes wearing ISU letterman jackets stood in his path, grabbed the flag, and wouldn't let him past. Was pretty fun watching him return to his squad with a mangled flag in hand.

Inviting A&M back to the Big12 will destroy the Big12 because Texas hates them and will find any reason to leave the conference if that happened. At the very least it would make me very nervous for the Big 12

A lot of cult-like schools in Texas, including A$M.
Hope we can play their over-rated Aggies in the Cotton.

Did they have their starting quarterback in the game yesterday? Because his terrible play was only topped by the horrible play of the rotating quarterbacks on the other side. All the while the commentators propped them up as a playoff level team.

I am a Texas Aggie but my family has deep roots in the state of Iowa. My dad actually has degrees from both ISU and the other school. We have a barn painted half Cyclone colors, half the other school that you hate. Anyway I made this for an Aggie forum after y'alls victory. We don't think about the horns as much anymore but they still come by our forums often enough that I couldn't resist having a little fun.

I doubt I will post much here moving forward but I am pulling for ISU to win out.

**** aTm and their weird cult fanbase. If they ever play Texas again I'll be cheering like hell for the Horns.

I could never really grasp A&M and NE’s issue with the revenue distribution model of the old Big 12. I mean, they both voted for it and blocked changes along with OU and Texas. Either one of them could have joined with the other 8 schools to change the distribution model. Of course, their opinion sure seemed to be they should get as much as Texas, but Iowa State or K-State shouldn’t get as much as them.

This is why I hate A&M as an institution. They voted with Texas against equal revenue for years, and then cited unequal revenue and inequity on their way out the door.

When I went to South Padre for Spring Break ages ago, the A&M guys were way more normal folks than the UT guys who putting on airs. This was before the Big XII.

That said, A&M bolting for the $EC blew that memory all to hell.

Not sure if you were going for it, but there is also a subtle dig there about Texas has to travel to two games in Kansas in December.

Rough crowd here, the guy came in peace, left in pieces. Always thought A&M vs UT was like ISU vs iowa.
