CF'ers should start a drive to get as many people involved as we can.

This^^^^^
I am actively reconstructing our budget to try to convince the wife into a donation. I buy MBB season tickets but just have a hard time with that extra hundo.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon and going to donate also. This could be just what we needed to get everybody more involved.

Nice job first time donors! Sucks that my employer does donation matches but not to athletics. We tried and it doesnt work. Would like to go from Cardinal to Gold.

This is awesome, I am sure lots of other people are donating or donating more than we already have. Just look at our awesome coaches, athletic director, president, and staying in the big 12. Great times to be a Cyclone, and hopefully many more.

So I felt really good about getting involved in this until I checked my bank account this morning...

I did the monthly debit authorization for $21 a month and clicked the box for States 250 on the form (i.e. 21 x 12 = $252). I check my account this morning and see that they are charging me $35.71 a month!! I get the math that 35.71 x the remaining 7 months of the calendar year equals the $250 donor level but I DID NOT authorize them to charge me that amount!

I know it is only another $14 a month, but I had to stretch to get to that $21 level to start with..

Not very happy with the NCC at this point and I will probably be withdrawing my pledge if they try to stick me with this. Not the way to start of a relationship with a first time donor.

Yeah, chances are if you talk to them, they'll rectify it. Chances are it was some student intern or something that just put that in.

Ask for Nicole Peckumn. She is the one that I worked with, and she thoroughly explained how the payments are broken down and how to submit all of the matching donation information from my employer.

The NCC payments are on a calendar year cycle, so you have to be paid up by the end of the year. So for you to be at the States 250 level, they have to charge you that much. If they only charge you what you had authorized, you'd drop to the next the lowest level ($100).

I get around
After all this mess I did it. I logged onto Cyclone Club and printed out the form, wrote a check and sent it in.

I'd like to challenge any of you fans to do the same. We dodged a bullet this time, but without the upgrade in support we could end up on the wrong end of the stick next time.

If you're already a member think about upping it. If you're not a member, join. You can get in for $100 a year - that's less than $10 a month. You probably spend more than that on Netflix or gaming. Support your freaking teams! Wake UP!

Part of it for me is I just want ISU to continue to compete at the top level. I could not stand playing in the MAC or even the Mountain West. Even if we never reach the pinnacle I like the idea that we're at least on the radar screen and the POSSIBILITY is there. Look how close we were in BB ten years ago.

I had no idea we were so off the radar screen on a national level. All the radio call ins were sad. It's like we didn't even exist.

Let's crank it up a notch or two! We got two up and coming coaches in FB and BB and now is the time to give the Athletic Dept a boost.

PS: I am in no way affiliated with the Cyclone club - they haven't sent my membership info yet, LOL.
Congrats to all of the above posters who are now new Cyclone Club, Gridiron Club, etc. members and now own a piece of the Cyclone action!!! :notworthy: Let's keep it rolling!

Thanks for the info. I will contact them and get it squared away on Monday.

Yeah I had an issue I forgot to give referral credit and she (Nicole) e-mailed me right away asking who I want it attributed to so I'm hoping they get the credit for me joining.
