Wow! That is a big dude. GMAC can coach bigs. If he can move well and is a true 6"9" with that type of build, we will have one tough inside player.
I live in Ames and saw he was in town and playing a pick up game today at 3. I just got back from watching at state gym. It really does seem like this kid will end up at ISU. His shot was pretty off today, but he rebounded very well. The kid is alot bigger than I thought. He was throwing cory johnson around and he is quite a load. There was another guy there, who I think was Adam Haluskas little brother. He was playing very well. Moves and plays just like Adam. He was schooling Dunson (who I thought left but I guess not), and also schooled brock jacobsen. If this is little Haluska, which I'm sure it was, I hope Iowa goes after hime. He has some talent, and obviously after seeing what Adam became why not take a chance on his brother.
Like Vette in concerned that he needs to win you over ISU Fan 22. Get over yourself.

I read the article and I have a question:
Do you remember what connection Tom Bardal has with Iowa State?
About 5 years ago, another player from the NE Iowa conference committed to Iowa. He was unrecruited until his senior year. I think Alford offered because he couldn't get anybody else. He was built about like Vette, maybe a little shorter and less than 245#. His name was Greg Brunner, remember him? Would you naysayers be satisfied if Vette turned out like Brunner?
I think he was an assistant under Floyd.
