If we don’t get a B12 win this year, which is increasingly looking like a real possibility, what changes do you see? Does Pollard demand Cambell clean house with assistants? I feel like at minimum the offensive side of the coaching staff needs a total turnover
If they go 0-9 maybe Campbell hands the play calling over to Nate S.

Kinda Contemplating if 0-9 this year would be more disappointing than 5-4 with last years roster. With that said think we have given Campbell complete power so don’t expect any changes unless he wants them and we will all be forced to accept because he has had success and had so called interest from other schools.

I am old enough to remember when we should have lost to Nebraska by ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POINTS! We were down by 60 points AT HALFTIME in that game. The only reason we didn't have 150 dumped on us is that Tom Osborn actually felt sorry for us, and that is a fact. Another fact is that we are two TDs from being undefeated. We have come a long way. The blowouts are over, and that is an improvement.

I do think Manning needs to be fired. But the people who think Campbell should be fired are idiots.

Meh, ISU will not go 0-9 unless the team quits, and I do not expect that. It will not be easy, but I think there are 3 wins to be had. Will be tough, but it can be done.
I want to be optimistic but WHO?

Texas - could get ugly. They're going want to revenge and Ewers is back.
WV - if we think we've seen good defensive lines before and explosive WR's - oh boy.
OKie State - most complete team IMO in the conference.

TCU? Maybe, but man can they score on offense. Even if we hold them to like 24, I don't trust the offense right now to score 25.

Oklahoma - all depends on if Gabriel is playing how winnable I see that game.

Which leaves Tech.

I hate to say it but right now we look more and more like 0-9 is a distinct possibility than a bowl game. I'm going to hope to be wrong like all heck but as bad as we are on offense and inconsistent on ST - I don't see it.

I shake my head thinking that for the first time in years ISU is the team others are circling as a win. If we have a chance to win the defense needs to keep playing lights out (and last night they had some gaffes). The offense? I just don’t have much hope.

I’ll strongly dislike your first point, and strongly like your second point. Anchoring expectations to the worst era of ISU football, or comparing current results to that era needs to permanently stop.

We need Matt Campbell as our coach, even if this year is 0-9. Also—I don’t think anyone is serious about it canning him.

OU, TT and WVU @ JTS are all winnable games. I fear for the Cyclones in the remaining road games @ Texas, @ Oklahoma State and @ TCU.

I do think a chance will happen at the OC if this continues for the year. Campbell let Rudy Wade go, and he was in his wedding party.

Scheelhause needs to be promoted, because another program will offer him that title if we don't.

The chances of 0-9 are slim. The last three home games are all winnable. With the way we play defense, you always have a shot to steal one of the road games too.

I know the offense is struggling, but there aren’t going to be wholesale changes in staff. In fact, those might be counterproductive. And there is zero chance that Pollard forces anything. Pollard says the number one sale point for Campbell is that he keeps his nose out of the program.

If you look back at the forums you can see that a lot of us were saying that 0-9 is possible, even before the Baylor game. If our offense can’t produce a touchdown it might be worse than we were thinking. Having said that, OU and WVU look to be our best shots at getting wins, which really makes the last two games sting. Missing a bowl would be a complete failure IMO.
