From isucyfan earlier in the thread:Can we please get a moderator or Jeremy or somebody to comment on why we can or cannot take the rival board off the front page? This is the screaming solution to this whole problem.
I will tell you that discussion of what to do with the In-State forum is still going on. Much of the site is split on the issue, so it is a tough decision as to what to do with it.
Can we please get a moderator or Jeremy or somebody to comment on why we can or cannot take the rival board off the front page? This is the screaming solution to this whole problem.
I commented earlier that the In-State Rivals forum and its placement is still under discussion between the mods. If you remember the recent poll, the voters here were at a literal 50/50 split on this. No matter what, a large faction of the board will be unhappy about this. In the meantime, I would just say to do your best to ignore the threads that bother you, and place members that bother you on your Ignore List.
So I can stay within site rules, pester you, and you can't ignore me. Excellent! :yes:We're also not allowed to have an Ignore List (except in extreme occasions...don't ask.)

*gasp*Yep, it's my own personal Hell.:cute:
Edit: That, plus the Friday Group.
I'll also add that it could be worse...you could be a mod and HAVE to read most of the threads on the board.

You know how to cut to the core. :cry:Yep, it's my own personal Hell.:cute:

No, I challenge you to take a tally. In threads that have nothing to do with Iowa, you'll first find an ISU fan to make a response about "EIU's arrests" or something like that, and then in will come an Iowa fan to defend the Hawks' honor, followed by the massive trainwreck that was once a promising thread.
I know, I know, I used to be one of those guys to chirp in and respond to every Iowa comment in every thread, but not only did I start to annoy myself, but there have been so many comments that they are impossible to keep up with. Plus, it always just becomes an immature ***** fest.
So solution - stop talking about the Hawks, create ISU related topics, and keep them ISU related, and PROBLEM SOLVED. That makes it easier for the moderator team to keep the trolls at bay, and everybody is happy.
Yep, it's my own personal Hell.:cute:

Freud would have a field day with this. The name of this website is CycloneFanatic. If you are on CycloneFanatic you are either a cyclone fan yourself or just here to bash and harass cyclone fans. The only other people that visit this website are frontrunners. Frontrunners, in my opinion, are the lowest form of life. You know these guys. They root for the Yankees or Red Sox in baseball, Lakers in basketball, and either the Cowboys or Steelers in football. Teams they root for have no geographical connection whatsoever. The frontrunners that visit this website are the people that went to Iowa State but root for the Hawkeyes. These people disgust me. If you make the decision to go to Iowa State – root for Iowa State! Don’t be a frontrunner!
Watch it buddy. :skeptical: I'm a Yankee fan because of Tino Martinez' few years in pinstripes. They root for the Yankees or Red Sox in baseball
