All this discussion makes me ponder something. There seems to be an irony in all this premium stuff. Doesn't a premium site use free information from inside sources to generate their own profit?

The people that actually generate the information do it for free, and then a premium site profits form using that information. Is there a copyright on information that you didn't create?

Just something that makes me go hmmm.

Well you've pretty much summed up my position on it...

I can elect to buy a paper and read about the game or event first hand, or I can elect not to buy the paper and here it from someone second hand who hasread the paper.

Often when coaches realize they are not going to get the job they pull there name out of the running and say they don't want to be a candidate. Not saying this is the case here, but it is a possibillity.
Good point...a way for them to save face and re-assure any of the fanbase concerned with their loyalty.
