Just the standard 80 yard field in 8 man.
One more touchdown was scored by the backups to make the final score 108-94.
Of course people will whine about it. This is serious stuff, small town Iowa, 8-man football.
There were. And some punts even. There was also about a 3 minute stretch where noone scored.
But at the same time each team had a stretch where they scored 20+ points in 30 seconds of game time due to some turnovers and a successful onside kick.
The first touchdown was scored 9 seconds into the game on a fumble recovery in the endzone.
I watched some of this while donating blood. It was nuts. I guess one of the teams had a decent defense as they shut out two teams and held two others to 6 points during the season. Just not today. Remsen St. Mary was all running and Montezuma was all passing. I think Montezuma had 800 yards and Remsen had 700 yards but Remsen won.

I saw where one kid had 20 catches for over 300yd and 7 TD's...just nuts.
This other semi final game is the total opposite, 14-12 at half. Kind of crazy to see a p6 recruit playing in the 8 man game for Fremont Mills.
Looking through the box of the 108-94 game a little closer. Both teams had 14 offensive TDs but RSM got a defensive TDs (nine seconds into the game). No field goals. The big difference is the extra points. Montezuma was 2-5 on PAT kicks and 4-9 on 2 pt trys (10 pts on 14 TDs. RSM was 4-6 on PAT kicks and 7-9 on 2 pt trys (18 pts on 15 TDs).
