Iowa State played with absolutely no heart

The biggest difference in talent was obviously on the DL. We saw the #1 defensive line in all of college football against the # 110 line (and that might be generous). If you switched those two lines, ISU could have won this game.

Look......IOWA looked great today but lets not get crazy. I'm certainly not ready to put them in the National Title Game quite yet.

There are a LOT of very good teams out there. ISU is NOT one of them.

While I agree that their DL is probably one of the best units in the country, they out match us at almost every position across the board. QB- Iowa, OL- Iowa, RB- toss up, kicker/punter- Iowa, LB- Iowa, Secondary- Iowa, WR- toss up.

I'm probably being generous with WR and RB, as you could make an argument that they are better at those positions as well.

The gap between the two front fours on D is almost comical.

I knew it was going to be a long hard season but I had hoped we'd do a little better against a team that's probably the 4th hardest we'll play.

Name two teams better than Iowa on our schedule.

Iowa played a perfect game. They came did what they do and we had no answer. They players played hard they just were out matched.

Chill out kids.

Be honest with yourself, what did you think our record would be after our first two games this year? 1-1 right? Well, that is right where we are; no more, no less. Next weeks game against KSU will tell us a LOT more about the future of this season than today did.

Now, if we lose to KSU... commence with the freak out..

Ummmmmmm...NO! That is a horrible idea.

...the rest of what you said was good though.

However, this was a smashdown, looked worse than last year.

Second year in a row, CPR just didnt care. Actions speak alot.

This pretty much solidifies you as the worst poster on this board. Yeah, our head coach doesn't care about losing to Iowa. Go sober off.

Kind of hard to play with heart when the other team is really good at:

- Ripping it out
- Stomping on it
- Kicking it down the field
- Repeat

You can't throw down field when the defense sends 4 and is immediately in your lap.

He didnt have problems getting the ball out, he had issues getting the ball in a place so the recievers could catch them.

Sadly I thought the effort was there even towards the end. I love CPR, but as a coach you need to put your team in the best position to win the game. We weren't gonna win when it got to 21-0. But the failure of the coaches to make adjustments to be competitive in the 2nd half was unacceptable.

Have you registerd www.fireCPR.com yet?

Getting our *** kicked sucks. But what is worse is seeing two of our guys get in a fight after that big pass in the third, then be flustered/out of position to allow the 30+ yrd touchdown. Pathetic.

On the bright side, I saw as much wrapping up and driving through guys today as I saw guys sitting on the turf and getting plowed. Funny the guys driving through were the ones you had to look up their number on the roster...

.

The reason they were fighting was because someone didnt stay home and didnt do his job in coverage.

Body language says a lot. It was obvious ISU wanted no part of Iowa and couldn't wait to get off the field. David Sims and Jake Lattimore were the only guys I saw laying down the smack. Everyone else just got run over.
