Iowa State Uniform Discussions (update: new basketball unis)

Someone posted it here but now if you click the link it says the post (tweet?) doesn’t exist.
It was black Cyclones in the basketball jerseys cursive-like font.
Interesting that of all our vintage logos that's the one the AD is starting to embrace.
I think the decal will definitely be script Cyclones for this game, but I did stop by the bookstore yesterday and they had a lot of clothes with these logos. I'm interested to see if they ever bring them back for a uniform or if they're just using it on merch because they know the fans want it.
I think across the board you're seeing tons of universities use a script font. I personally like it.
I've always loved Oklahoma State's script helmets. They were way ahead of the curve with those.
OK State's weird uniform era was when everything including the jersey numbers was italic.
My tshirt I got with that on it my freshman year in late 90s is just now starting to disintegrate into oblivian. When you see tiny holes forming then suddenly there are actual huge holes everywhere and it's no longer suitable to wear outside the house.
A lot of games where I wore that as the lucky shirt for us all. And a lot of times it let us down.
White lid. No helmet stripes. Black facemask. Black "Cyclones" script.

I hope you are right but I fear that you will be disappointed. I feel a true cursive script similar to what has been on the sideline polos being slapped on those helmets. We will have a feeling of being let down similar to the bugle disappointment several years back.
