Lol. What? I don't think that Fred is paying or abusing players, so I doubt he is doing it the wrong way. I can't believe the amount of people that hate Fred found a new way to build a program faster then their coaches could, so they automatically say we don't do things the right way.

Iowa fans hate when ISU gets positive attention, that's why they hate Rhoads because they say that he gets the local media attention and they don't give Fred credit because he's talked about nationally. That's all it comes down to

39-16 At home in the Fran McCaffery Era

8 wins and 8 of those losses came in the first year with just a terrible team. Leaving 31-8 (.79) in the last three years.

Hoiberg:

13-6 year one at home
17-2 year two
17-1 year three
3-0 so far
50-9 total (.85)

Obviously Hilton is a better home court advantage, but lets not pretend like Carver is the easiest place to win in the world.

A little too fair for the Internet, but it works for now.

If you weren't trying to equate them then why do you have such a hard time admitting Hilton is a much better home court advantage?

Who do you think you need to convince that there are other tough places to play in CBB? You keep repeating it so you must be talking to someone specifically.

JFC, you just won't stop. I never said Carver was better. But you get you off your ******* high horse, what are we trying to compare about Hilton and Carver, and I will give you my opinion. Are you talking about what has been the tougher place to play at Historically? Are you talking about last year? Are you talking about this year? When exactly are you talking about?

Every tavern Hok I know says nasty stuff about Hoiberg. Why do they even care when they consider us so inferior?

It's cute because they also ignore that Niang, Long, Thomas and Morris are better talent collectively than the freshman Fran has brought in even with his one good local class. Both in that our freshman have more *s on average and their actual production on the court. Just wait if we land Custer, Cunningham and Vaughn all out of high school. The caliber of freshman we're bringing in is something the state hasn't seen since Iowa's early 80s teams.

For the 3rd maybe 4th time, no one said you did. Funny you were the one to critcize reading comprehension.

Fred vs Fran era, the era 99% of Iowa vs ISU bball threads end up being about.

Lets clarify here a bit. We are talking a #1 and #2 seed (not all ranked teams are equal). I'm sorry, but Michigan isn't a #1 or #2 seed this year. Most of the #1 or #2 seeds that come into Hilton walk away with a win as well (Kansas).

and the only way KU walked away with a win was because of 5 horrible calls in the last 1:40 seconds. Without bad/wrong calls no way they get out of there with a win. The point still stands, Hilton is tough, even for the elite teams to come and play at. ISU should have the longest home ct. winning streak right now.

DERP, Ames and Hilton, never said anything different. Is your vagina ok now?

Now would you like to talk historically? What place historically has been tougher to win at? What is your answer?

Doesn't it feel good to finally post it and stop trying to dance around it? It took awhile but even you can't ignore how much better Hilton is.

What relevance does the second part have on this year's game? Or are you so desperate to get a "win" that this is what you've resorted to?

39-16 against a murderer's row of tomato cans is pretty darn impressive.

I said Hilton isn't the only tough place to play.....everything else was made up in your delusional head.

I think it helps that we'll be Iowa's first true road test. Winning on the road is very difficult, against a good opponent. Not that it can't be done, but it's quite a bit harder than winning at home. I know they play away from Carver at a tournament, but that's totally different than playing in front of 14k rabid fans.

I think a lot of Hawk fans assume they'll see the same Ejim as last year, and that's unlikely to be the case. He had 5 pts and 4 boards and was saddled with foul trouble.

That and the fact that we won't have Lucious turning it over (7 times).

It should be a very good game, and hopefully Hilton will make the difference.

Seriously? I mean It's not like Iowa plays in the big ten... Lets take a look at some of Iowa States home schedules over the last few years and compare?

Also, I didnt take out Hoiberg's first year because it was pretty good so I figured they'd want it included.

You misunderstand me. I don't want him on our team, I want to know what he did that was so offensive on his visit to ISU.

I think the story is that he wore an Iowa shirt on his ISU visit.
