Outside of Marble, Iowa still has the same shooting problems it had last year.

It will be a good game at Hilton, but in the end I think ISU's athleticism and shooting win out. With the guards ISU has, I don't see a huge problem with the press.

Finally.....saw nothing out of Woodbury, Gesell, Jok or Uthoff tonight. They don't have the depth they think they do against any Div. I teams with a pulse. They would be better off just playing Clemmons and Olaseni over Woodbury and Gesell as much as possible.

Who know maybe Iowa will redeem themselves tomorrow night but I just don't see it. They look like the exact same team from last year.

You mean the team that beat the Cyclones? They are better than many of you seem to think. A team with good size will present problems for ISU this season, Iowa has good size. Maybe the Cyclones will blow them out....but don't count on it.

Iowa played their game, which unfortunately for them isn't very good. They still can't shoot for crap other than Marble and occasionally Gesell. Whar Jok? Whar Utoff? Whar Woodbury?

I'll give them this - they are masters at getting to the free throw line. Which, if not for that, they'd never score above 48 points a night.

Yeah, congrats on beating ISU on a night where Luscious produced one of the worst point guard performances ever....And still lead at half and had opportunities to still win the game in the second half..... Again, congrats....

Yeah, but what Iowa fans seem to forget is that this is not the same Cyclone team. This one has a couple quality wins early in the season and is ranked. This is the same Iowa team as last year.

THAT GAME WAS A YEAR AGO. Seriously, let it go.

I can't tell if you're serious or not. A win is a win is a win. But, Liscious didn't play well!!!

We should be rooting for Iowa to beat every team they play. It will only help us in the long run.

I don't think we'll have any problems with them at all at home, though. College basketball and really all basketball is a guards game. Other than Marble, their guards are not good. White is still an unskilled player in the half court. Woodbury is a liability on both ends of the court. That tall Euro guy they have is active but not skilled by any stretch of the imagination. I didn't even notice the kid who transferred from Wisconsin in the game at all. He's either way over-hyped or he was hurt. The Jok kid looked terrible and clueless.

We sucked when we played Iowa last year. The team didn't really start gelling until Big XII play started. Last year is irrelevant.

They don't have a choice... It's about the only factual thing they can use to say they have a chance to win in Hilton. Sadly that one factual thing is completely irrelevant for this game.

Also, I'd like Iowa to be undefeated or as close to it as Kansas will allow when we play them.

There's money to be made on that game and lots of it.

Yup, same team. Thankfully, ISU seems to be a lot better this year, at least to this point, than the one this same Iowa team beat last year.

For ISU, they just have to make Iowa score in the halfcourt, don't allow Iowa to parade to the free throw line and control the defensive glass. Easier said than done, but if they can do it I don't see Iowa winning that game.
