Yup, same team. Thankfully, ISU seems to be a lot better this year, at least to this point, than the one this same Iowa team beat last year.
So you're saying this years team will be better than last years team? There is no way to know that at this point. How good are Michigan and BYU? No one knows yet. Any team can shoot poorly, not play smart, and look terrible on any given night.....even the Cyclones. :)

Last year's game was so long ago, Georges Niang wasn't even in the starting lineup yet.

Not to mention the guy that tore up Iowa last year probably won't even see playing time in the game unless there's an injury, heavy foul trouble or it's a blowout.

This years team is better than last years team up to this point. I attribute most of that to good point guard play which is something we haven't had in the non-conference the last two years.

I honestly think Percy will see sometime this game and play solid.. He should be able to hold his own against the Iowa bigs.

Yeah, congrats on beating ISU on a night where Luscious produced one of the worst point guard performances ever....And still lead at half and had opportunities to still win the game in the second half..... Again, congrats....

Not only did Lucious play poorly, Clyburn scored exactly ZERO points. That game in Carver was honestly one of the worst games we played last year. We pulled one of our disappearing acts.
Amazing that we actually led at half.

I can't tell if you're serious or not. A win is a win is a win. But, Liscious didn't play well!!!

We should be rooting for Iowa to beat every team they play. It will only help us in the long run.

I don't think we'll have any problems with them at all at home, though. College basketball and really all basketball is a guards game. Other than Marble, their guards are not good. White is still an unskilled player in the half court. Woodbury is a liability on both ends of the court. That tall Euro guy they have is active but not skilled by any stretch of the imagination. I didn't even notice the kid who transferred from Wisconsin in the game at all. He's either way over-hyped or he was hurt. The Jok kid looked terrible and clueless.

We need Iowa's help?

I'm no genius, but that might be because some pretty good D was played on him?

The week after the UNI game leading up to the Iowa one is going to be ******* obnoxious, from both sides. It already is obnoxious, I just want to fast forward through all of it.

We will not play anywhere close to as bad as we played last year in Carver. That was one of the worst performances we had all year with Lucious, Ejim, and Clyburn all having bad games. People really seem to underestimate the advantage of playing at home.
