Is it "Tiller-time" for Iowa State?

I think a lot of our problems would be solved by improving our OL and DL. You'd probably be amazed at how much better our QB and RB would look.

Not to start throwing out comparisons, but a Ricky Stanzi led team just dominated an opponent on the road, and if any of you saw the game, you know that it wasn't because of QB play.

Baylor knew what we were going to do when the O lined up. Formations need to be changed around a bit to keep the D honest. Even Seneca Wallace struggled when the team ran the same play over and over out of the same set.

Im not putting this on AA, Definately put it on everyone and the coaching staff.

I dunno, but i am excited for next saturday, You should see the guys eyes light up when you mention coming back to JTS, they love it here and have so much fun. I think we will look much better next weekend, being at home and with an embarassing loss to encourage a victory.

Infact, i cant wait, because i know this weekend will be something special. Its a feeling i only get when i know somethings going to change, I can feel it, i can see it in guys emotions, and im ready to get this thing in the right direction.
33... I used to really enjoy your posts... I am souring after the last 3 days of what you have been saying though.

You got me wrong 22

I truely am fond of Austen, I just hated the way he played last night.

And just because i responded to this thread, doesnt mean i think its "tiller time"

I just chimed in because i learned that Austen hurt his arm during the game, and Tiller was told to warm up.

I really don't see anything wrong with what 33 said. He's not making stuff up. Tiller was warming up during the second half last night. Arnaud played poorly last night.

We wouldn't have won last night if Peyton Manning was our QB.

Nah, I don't think we have it wrong. It's been visible for more than just a couple weeks now. More are just coming around to seeing it.

It's certainly your opinion though and you have that right. Just calling a spade a spade.

I don't need an "insider" to tell me that AA played bad last night.

You know what... EVERYONE had a bad game last night. Not just AA. They mentioned that Tiller was warming up during the radio broadcast too.

Agreed completely. I think I said that earlier in the thread. I was pleased with Mahoney last night, though. I was completely expecting him to miss that FG after we had one of the biggest implosions at the end of a drive in the history of American football.

So what Tiller was warming up. Supposedly AA hurt his arm last night and there was a time when it was believed Tiller would have to go in.

There are a couple here that are making a case for Tiller to see action and it's not just because of a possible injury.

IMO, that'sthe crazy talking and I simply can't get behind those "sources".

A big reason for this is because Bruns said last night on the radio that he thought we would see Tiller this year whether Austen got hurt or not.

Don't take these things too personal, the same people talking to you give their opinions too, they get called out at times too. The best part of this board for me is reading everyone's thoughts and sorting it out for myself. Doesn't seem to matter if one of you is right while the other is wrong, the truth eventually shows itself. This place would be a lot less interesting without the different opinions offered here, no need for group think here.

All ive said is that Tiller coming in is not out of the question right now

Oh I dont worry about it, Simply I want people to benefit from my posts, to keep them interested, and to state the information I know that can be told. 22 seems to hold a grudge on me, and thats fine. To each his own, Im not here to argue.

That's what I got out of your posts...I didn't make much of it other than relaying information about the situation AA was in with his hand. I really enjoy reading your opinions though, if people get their panties in a wad over it, then so be it. Its just your opinion.

I may have put too much emphasis on how badly i thought Austen played and the fact that Tiller may play this year into the same post.

If AA doesn't perform, I say take off the Red Shirt and let's see Tiller's stuff. Next season is time for Iowa State to move to the next level. If AA is not the man to do it, then it's tiller-time.

Really? Why dont we call on Marvin Mcnutt:no::no:

Give it time bro!!! JT is awesome, but I still believe AA has all the tools to be an NFL QB...
