I think we really ought to lean into the Transformers identity this season. When the team takes the field we can have an audio clip of Optimus Prime saying “Autobots, roll out!!”

We could even modify the Transformers theme song hook from “Transformers: Robots in Disguise!” to “Transformers: Winning in the Dark!”

You missed the best one - "More than meets the eye." Campbell's teams have consistently performed well ahead of where their recruiting rankings would indicate they should. Additionally, a decent track record has emerged of taking 3 star recruits and transforming them into All-Conference/All-American performers.

Actually as a ISU fan living in Eastern Iowa I've come to appreciate Mike. He is ahead of most of his peers when it come to being honest about TOE.

He's generally been one of the best in Iowa for giving ISU credit while also making sure to hold Iowa in check.

Hlas is one of the better writers in the state, but at the end of the day, he's just another hok homer. His article on national pre-season honors for Cyclone players (surprised at the level and the number) is telling.

The post makes perfect sense if you're a hok promoter. Hlas knows the last thing the TOE can sell right now is a positive culture. He also knows Campbell could teach a graduate class on how to develop culture and sell it.
So if you're HerkyHlas, downplay culture and try to ignore it as coach speak poppycock.
