They're more uptempo than what ISU's seen but ISU might be able to muddle things up.

This team doesn't care about who they're playing in front of.

I like ISU to be able to get to the hoop easier but WI's posts will be a problem.

Their profile is similar to Oklahoma. We'll definitely have to play well to win, but nothing this team hasn't seen before.

Who is more uptempo? Wisconsin certainly doesn’t appear to be.

They get up and down and shoot quickly in the shot clock. Not sure what the metrics show for official tempo but there's a stigma that WI plays their swing offense, grind it out style and that's not what they do. Haven't for a while.

Kenpom says that's not right... They're 211th on adjusted tempo.

Not exactly sure.

Looking at their scores, it appears they are what most conferences would call an average pace team. Most of their scores were in that 60-73 range.

I found myself cheering for Wisconsin to win. Colgate can shoot. Plus, Gabe, Brockington, Tyrese, everybody really will get up more for playing Wisconsin and play with a chip on their shoulder or more of an edge.

I told my son, who was cheering for Colgate, because of course 14 seed equals easier road to the Sweet 16. It's really like six in one hand, half dozen in the other. Both those teams are pretty similar. The only difference was the Badgers had Davis.

I guess when the brackets came out I thought ugh LSU will be tougher than Wisconsin. And I still think that.
Difference is, Wisc has two big guys inside that we'll have to maybe double. LSU was just a different team but can't say how. Not sure Conditt or Jones will be able to hold Prowl or Voigt down inside.
Yes we can beat them, but I do think Wisc turned up the pressure and never let Colgate hardly get a '3' off in the last 7 min.

Prowl was jacking threes mostly from what I saw. He needs to find a few protein shakes it looks like.

Wisconsin is a high IQ team and won't turn it over. They will exploit us in some areas. I don't think we can rely on the three ball to win. We are going to have to score in transition and in the paint in he half court offense. Should be a good game.
