Wonder if location plays into it at all? If it was in say Tennessee, would we be favored?
I would imagine it is factoring a neutral site and not the home court advantage it will be. Guessing the Vegas line is closer to 4.5-5.

Zero chance I would rather play Wisconsin, but they feel a lot like Iowa with the one star Davis and some very solid role players. We will definitely not be outmatched crazy talent wise, so like always will come down to us hitting shots.

Of course they also lost to nebraska. Worse than any of our losses.
True dat. But without Johnny Davis 3/4 of game. Same thing would probably happen to us if we played without Brockington.

I think I’d rather play Wisconsin than Colgate? Crowd advantage Badgers for sure. But I’ve said for months Wisconsin is playing with fire. 15 wins of 6 points of less. I would also love to beat the big ten champ.

Bring ‘em on. Nothing to lose.
Colgates three point shooting made me feel like they would either dominate us or hit a crushing game winning 3

Difference is, Wisc has two big guys inside that we'll have to maybe double. LSU was just a different team but can't say how. Not sure Conditt or Jones will be able to hold Prowl or Voigt down inside.
Yes we can beat them, but I do think Wisc turned up the pressure and never let Colgate hardly get a '3' off in the last 7 min.
The big uglies won't be on the floor much when TJ hits them with a little small ball. Seriously though, beating Wisconsin comes down to making someone other than Davis beat you. I love our chances.

Wisconsin is due for a loss. They’ve won pretty much every close game they’ve played all year and eventually every team’s luck runs out. Give me this Cyclone team with Izaiah getting his big national moment Sunday.

Who is more uptempo? Wisconsin certainly doesn’t appear to be.

Agree. Colgate and Wisconsin plays very methodical. Colgate especially! We definitely play more up-tempo compared to the Badgers.

Personally, I would rather play Wisconsin. Davis is a really, really good player. But, I have faith that Kalscheur can make things difficult on him. ISU gives up a lot of open 3's just due to helping and trapping, so I really wouldn't like our odds as much vs Colgate. I do think that we have the athletic advantage at most positions vs WI. They're going to post up their bigs and a key will be keeping Conditt and Jones out of foul trouble. That said, if we have to go small with Kunz at the 5, we should get some open shots and lanes to the rim by bringing their bigs out. To me, it would be a no-brainer preference of playing Wisconsin if it weren't for home court advantage. That evens it out some.

The one other thing...if we lose or even get blown out by Wisconsin, oh well. It's just gravy at this point.
