Is Weber out a KSU?

You'll have that when you aren't getting Billy Preston type of recruits with cars.
Ah yes, the guy who never played one minute of basketball for Kansas. Super example.

Kansas is better when they don't have Top 25 recruits. Give me guys ranked between 25-150 that stay for 3-4 years and let Self coach 'em up.

Ah yes, the HE DIDN'T EVEN PLAY FOR US excuse. You think Billy was the only one getting those benefits at KU? LOL.

Must be why they re-hired Gramps.

Ouch...nice little dig toward KSU fans:

"The negativity that surrounds K-State times is really sad to me," Weber said. "This is the only school I've been associated with that I tell our recruits to avoid our social media. I'm afraid of what they'll see. Hopefully that can change, maybe with the new coach, and everybody can be positive about K-State and K-State athletics."
Not surprising seeing their fanbase on twitter. In person its a different story.

The three wins that Bruce Weber had against Kansas were:

2018-2019: KU had a Billy Preston-like player in Top 20 recruit Quentin Grimes
2014-2015: KU had a Billy Preston-like player in Top 20 recruit Kelly Oubre
2013-2014: KU had a Billy Preston-like player in Top 5 recruit Andrew Wiggins

Looks like Bruce Weber had no problem with KU's Billy Preston-like recruits. It was the lower ranked recruits that were developed by Bill Self that he couldn't beat.

There were also players like Jackson, Alexander also getting benefits I'm sure.
You'll defend KU until the end of time though.

Please, everyone knows Kansas had a money bag guy. It's basically been proven. Just because you say they are better with 25th ranked and up does not mean they didn't hand bags of cash to recruits. That is silly and you know it.

I'm sure the guys ranked worse than 25th (De Sousa for example) were as clean as they come. :jimlad:

Just more reasons to stay away from Top 25 recruits as money men are trying to get in their good graces by giving them money. Fish in that pool for too long and you are guaranteed to get burned eventually.

No doubt that Underwood loves KSU and the heartstrings are pulling. Yet the financial and competitive realities will stand in the way.

Underwood would be a great hire because he would unify the now-fractured fanbase.

Otherwise, I don't believe he's a great coach. He's benefited from recruits brought to Urbana by a great recruiter who later left for UK, Orlando Antiqua. Underwood was also involved in the skirts of the FBI scandal at USC,e and oSu.

So, if he comes to K-State, I'll be pleased. If he doesn't, I won't be shocked, nor unhappy.
