Is your trust in CMC lost to fix this offense in 2023 and beyond?

Matt’s quote about the 4 straight runs being good calls that were poorly executed has me about out of hope. We haven’t executed an inside handoff all year. Maybe stay away from play calls that we can’t execute.

I'm done with CMC. Nepotism and half ass "solutions". Just like with special teams, he'll make tiny tweaks to the offense, that won't actually fix anything.

I predict CMC only change will be getting a different offensive line coach. Just another example of him putting a bandaid on a bullet hole.

Agree. Matt has the same issue that Manning has. Their thought process is "this play call should theoretically work. I know it hasn't worked yet, but it should theoretically so let's do it again."

I imagine he'll be as successful fixing the offensive problems as he's been fixing the special teams issues that have been prevalent for much, much longer.
Winner winner chicken dinner. Man has proven he's a "put a bandaid on a bullet hole" mindset.

I'm gonna get real sicko here:

EIU currently, this season, with that offense, has the same amount of wins as our "best and most talented team ever" last season. They even had to play OSU and Michigan.

That disgusting garbage offense, coached by vile people, rooted for by wartburg dropouts, and mocked/panned weekly by fans and media alike, has achieved the same as our "best team ever".

I'm going to go puke.

This postgame question/answer doesn't give me a ton of hope at the moment:

Question:
The inability to score inside the five yard line, what was going on there?

Campbell:
Yeah, you know I don't know exactly what's going on there. Obviously I'll have a better answer of why. You know I thought they were good play calls. I thought really, man, there was a lack of execution and why that happened I don't know.

He doesn't know why there was a lack of execution? Lol what a piece of work.

Next press conference:

CMC carefully looking over notes.

“You know, man, it’s been a process these past few days. This season we had the perfect game plan for 11 games. Those same game plans they brought so much success last season. I am still not sure why the execution just isn’t there. We’ve been very inconsistent in some phases of execution on the offense and some special teams challenges. If we could be a little more consistent on some of these inconsistencies perhaps the execution will improve. I will be taking a look at this in the coming weeks.

In the meantime just sit tight, the process in in place, we are getting the job done, execution will improve, a thousand points of light, trust the process and stay the course. Thank you.

We have heard the comment "I'll have a better answer of why" after reviewing constantly the last 2 yrs in press conferences. Yet I have not seen any follow-up answers promised by coach. I guess this is why we continue to see the same **** week after week - he has reviewed the tape and does not have an answer; it should be working.

Look give the man a break he is not a miracle worker! These are inconsistent inconsistencies! It’s not like you see the same issues in the same places game after game.
