I still think losing Floyd was the worst thing that has happened to this program.

We needed Tim to stick around and be the next Orr. His early exit to the Bulls initiated the downward spiral IMO (yes I know we had 2 of our best years after he left).

I totally agree; he had the rare combination of being an excellent coach and recruiter. I doubt we will ever see talent like: Fizer, Cato, Nurse, Willoughby, et al recruited by a single ISU coach. I always felt, given a few days to prepare, that Floyd had us prepared for any game.

Oh please don't give me this crap because i said Iowa State is terrible that i should be a hawk fan, I have been to every single home basketball game this year and will go to the last one against k-state, but that doesn't mean that we aren't terrible. Can you honestly say that you don't have a hard time watching this basketball team right now? because i sure can. We are not a good team right now, so therefore i have a hard time watching them. Hopefully they can turn it around sooner rather than later. Just because i get frustrated with how below average we are right now does not make me a "fan".

Sorry, I just have a hard time with people who say they can't stand to watch this team anymore. I watch every minute of every game, win or lose. It's not as fun to watch as when we 32-5, but I enjoy every minute of it because it's Cyclone Basketball.

To me, the very definition of a fairweather fan is one who isn't into the team unless they're good.

Good to hear you aren't giving up on them just yet. It sounded like you already had in your last post in this thread.
