No way Iowa scores 35 vs this defedse which is vastly improved. Iowa didn't scored that much vs a bad ILL st defense. UNI D is better. It will be a low scoring affair..iowa will run and clock will move.

Yup pretty much my sentiments regarding a low-scoring game. Not sure of our OLine.

Iowa will really struggle against our pass rush. Pierson was great, but he will be even better with Taylor opposite him. Those two push and feed off of each other, and Taylor is just as capable at having multi-sack games. Oh, and Tucker in the middle? Not to mention Thomas too.

I liked the fact ISU's interior defense was stout last night. That was an easy exploitation the last few years for Iowa and a lot of teams. Iowa likes to run the draw off tackle, if the Defense can be impressive as it was last night it will force a lot of perimeter runs, screens, and WR shallow passes. And that forces the ball into one of our strengths the secondary. I think Iowa will test us deep and with their TE's All game long. Ultimately our offense needs to get the rust off and play like we know they can. If this happens.

Our offense is not good. We will get sacked a lot.

Will be a low scoring game, and Cole will win the game for us again.

Iowa looked a lot better than ISU, which means they'll probably lose. I've seen this movie too many times before.

Cole Netten calmly drills a 59-yarder into the new SEZ as time expires to seal the ISU victory.

Like your prediction. Less confident in your study of the game... iowa has probably run less 50 draws in the Ferentz era...all QB draws at that.

In typical Iowa fashion, they blow out their first opponent so badly that they can't use the game film to make corrections and improvements. While the final score last night looked lopsided, there was definitely enough struggles for the coaches to review. ISU makes a leap from week 1 to week 2 and wins a close game.
