Just glad to see basketball again.

Saw the early dominance, the completely lackadaisical stretch, and the fantastic run to put the game away.

Niang really seemed to motivate the team away from that lazy, uninspired stretch, and that was nice to see.

I don't think you realize who you're speaking to. I run 30 miles a week. I'm no couch potato.

And it doesn't take a genius to notice that Niang is in bad shape out there. But he's young and he will get into better and better shape as the season goes along. He'll be fine.

Give it up dude. It wouldn't matter if I was an obese 400 lb couch potato. I'd still have every right to make the observation that someone that is getting a free ride to college to play basketball is not quite in basketball shape yet.

And... I'm not the only one on here that made that observation. What if Hoiberg makes the same observation... are you going to start calling him names too?

Woah, relax buddy. I never said anything other than making a point about how jogging long distance doesn't = being in basketball shape. Your fight is with someone else, I agreed he looked worn out. But that attrition is something that builds over the season. Come conference play, he will be just fine.

I don't think some of the guys are in great shape, but I'm ok with letting some or them play their way into shape. They'll be in shape when it matters.

Booker was not good today. He has no instincts in the post. He'll be an important player for ISU, but he's a good example of why recruiting bigs can be so difficult.

Long looks good. Reminds me a bit of Tasheed Carr. Size, PG skills, decent jumper. He seems like a guy that would relish going into Phog Allen. Carr didn't really get good until he left ISU, but I see some similarities.
