Percy pretty well buried on the depth chart.

I thought for sure, with Hogue out most of the 2nd half sick though, that we'd see Edozie for sure. We needed rebounding help BAD.

But until Percy can figure out his role, I don't know we'll see him much. Might be forced to on Tuesday though to deal with Baylor's size?

I always figured Percy would come around and figure it out. It looks like I was wrong on that one. It seems he has figured out his roll and going to coast for the next year and half, sad as it is to say that.

Just watched the tape (was on the road yesterday.) That Hannahs chick for Tech is pretty good. Has she always been on the mens' team or did she get promoted from the womens' team?

Baylors size advantage when it comes to rebounding is greatly neutralized with their tendency to run zone defense. Its hard to defensively rebound out of a zone. Also, we will get a couple easy put backs on offensive rebounds because of the zone defense.

If Percy wants meaningful playing time, it have to be somewhere else in '15-'16 after redshirting during his transfer year. But if he accepts his role as a scout team contributor then I am glad we have him.

Just watched the game on DVR. Anyone else notice how much commentator Steve Howard said "unmolested"? Creepy!

Frosh stepped up big when needed, especially Morris. Thomas is real solid, just not the scorer many expected yet.

It might just be me, but it looked like Kane got a little out of focus for a few minutes. If you watch in the 2nd half when he set up ME for a three from the top of the key, after the pass he did nothing, didn't go to the boards, didn't get back on D in case the basket was missed, just kind of stood there and watched. Maybe tired, who knows? He tends to try to put too much on his shoulders at times, IMO, instead of getting everyone involved. We thrive because of ball movement and teamwork, and that's what will give us the best chance of success.

I would expect that us having to work harder to get defensive rebounds (and keep them from getting put-backs) will slow us down. Nonetheless, I hope we really push the ball after made baskets and defensive rebounds. I don't see Baylor being able to get back quickly.

I agree Kane seems to give a 110% most all the time then sometimes he seems to give up on the play. Don't get wrong CF posters we not be undefeated without him - just my observation.

Under Fred whenever this offense gets mired it's when the ball and players don't move and they settle for iso plays or three's.

He tried to take over the game himself to get the lead back. He tried to do too much and forced it way to much instead of letting the game come to him. When the took the ball out of his hands at let Morris run the point the team started to play better.

Agree. Kane as our best scoring guard and our pg will have those moments. It is great we can bring MM off the bench and move Kane to off-guard where he can still attack, but within the flow of our offense.

This game was similar to last year's game in Lubbock in that both teams shot poorly from the field this game and both teams shot poorly from the field last year. The major difference between last year's loss and this year's win is free throws.

In 2013, ISU was 9-15 from the line to Tech's 13-19. This year, the Clones outscored the Red Raiders by 18 from the line, making 24-29 of their free throws to Tech's 6-8.

Our two point guards, Kane and Morris, combined to go 14-18 from the line. They are not afraid to drive the ball to the lane, whereas last year's point guards, Lucious and Clyburn, were more comfortable shooting threes. I much prefer our point guards this year.
