I like this site. It's good to see people be proactive about this. Maybe we can't do much, but it's better than sitting back and doing nothing.

I've only looked through the first page so I don't know if this has been mentioned but Iowa State got like 22nd in the Directors Cup. I believe all Big 10 teams were in the to 70 or so. Big 10 has said they would like to get schools that are in that region. I will try and find link.

I couldn't get to the complete standings for some reason but it looks like all Big 10 schools except Iowa are in the top 50 and ISU is at 31st.

I like the site. However the Big 10 does not care if we bring competitive sports. They only care if we bring dollars. Right now we don't.

Yeah, we don't bring the same TV sets or personal athletic budget that either Mizzou or UNL does. However, as an ACADEMIC UNIVERSITY, we bring in much more money in research grants than either of those two schools. Also, $$ earned in academics (research grants, etc.) absolutely DWARFS athletic money. So if it's about bringing the cash to the Big Ten, ISU not being included is a travesty.
