Do you think Iowa State really had any say on the Big 12 realignment? No. We were the smallest pawn on the board. We had no say at all. We just went along with everyone else. If Texas or OU wanted to leave, they would have, and they wouldn't have listened to Jamie Pollard.

Pollard is rightfully proud of the way our fans show up, even on the road. Can't say that I blame him for bragging about it. Probably would have been better just to post about our tailgate and let someone else respond with a photo about the Baylor tailgate.

People on this board get worked up over such irrelevant things - I would hate to see how some of you live your lives if you get all worked up over a Twitter post.

With a team like Baylor has, ISU fans would pack the lots and stands in the middle of a freaking monsoon. I am not going to fault Pollard for indirectly noting how good our fan base is. What else is there to brag about at this point?

10 to 17 inches of rain in Central Texas in the 24 hours prior to kickoff... Interstate 35 from Dallas to Waco, Interstate 35 from Austin to Waco and Interstate 45 from Houston to Waco all had sections that were shut down by flooded areas...

Why not just be proud that your kids played their *** off against #2 in the nation and left with some self respect and a QB that they can rally behind for the rest of the season?

Why does he have to be a complete ******* who ignores the facts of the situation?

Oh Please...

ISU has won 5 games in the last two seasons and will still sell 60,000+ tickets in -10 degree weather with 2 feet of snow. No excuse to have an empty tiny stadium when you have had the success Baylor has had, rain or no rain.

He tweeted in the morning. I took it as less of a troll of Baylor and more of pride in Iowa State. There's nothing wrong with that.

He's had to teach Iowa State fans to have pride in being an Iowa Stater. Someone in this thread still thinks that the billboard was not the right move. That's the level of idiot that he is working with. Iowa State fans that think that putting a ******* billboard in Cedar Rapids is a **** move.

and when was the last time you got the backwash of the strongest hurricane in recorded history? When were the arteries that feed your stadium from the 3 largest areas of your alumni base all blocked at the same time?

Congats on being the Cubs fans of College football... let me know when you actually achieve something on the field... to think I was kind of proud of your kids for hanging in their against the #2 team in the nation...

Everyone... not just Baylor fans, but EVERYONE is amazed at the way your fans continue to support a football program that hasn't done anything to earn your support in decades... it's amazing. But to pretend that this picture in any way represents the normal Baylor fan or Baylor tailgate is just ********...

And fans like you are the reason other fanbases think Our fans are jackasses. We care about Iowa... IOWA!!! The one team we base our year on, most teams accross the country could give two ***** less about. Anytime we do something decent we feel the need to puff out our chests and make sure everyone knows about it. It's a ****** move to put that billboard up. Act like you've experienced success before, something tells me you probably haven't though so you have zero experience knowing what's that's like.

It was a ******* billboard in a city in Iowa. I do not see why that was even a controversy.

Sports are supposed to be fun. It's not something where you should act like you've been there. It's a game. It's not some serious thing. Enjoy it.

Some of you act like it is a ******* business transaction.

I'm getting out of here before I say something that gets me banned by the thin skinned mods here...

I genuinely like most of you guys and respect your team and your fan base... mostly...

We have so much in common... Baylor should be a model for ISU to follow in football... we were as bad as you...maybe worse... just 5 years ago.

BTW, McLane was sold out again...but not everybody was able to actually get there... PHYSICS!

I've been down there around gametime, I have family down there. So yes I have experienced your "normal" tailgate. Its not bad, just much smaller than most schools. Nothing bad about that, specially given the relatively small enrollment.
