I've been down there around gametime, I have family down there. So yes I have experienced your "normal" tailgate. Its not bad, just much smaller than most schools. Nothing bad about that, specially given the relatively small enrollment.

I don't disagree at all with this!


We are a small, private school, who is still Baptist affiliated, where the majority of Baptists consider consuming alcohol a sin... where tailgating basically didn't exist until Briles got to Waco in 2008...



But we also have the longest home winning streak in the NCAA and back to back Big XII Championships... and we have sold out our stadium every game since it's been open, even if, on one day, many of those people couldn't get to the stadium.

The one team we base our year on, most teams accross the country could give two ***** less about. Anytime we do something decent we feel the need to puff out our chests and make sure everyone knows about it. It's a ****** move to put that billboard up. Act like you've experienced success before, something tells me you probably haven't though so you have zero experience knowing what's that's like.

Easy there. No one's trying to take away the success that your program has had in the last few years. Some of our fans just try to compensate for the lack of our program's own success by measuring fan support to make themselves feel better.

Why are you here? You do have your own message board where you can all talk about how great Baylor is, right?

You have an outstanding football program. My dream for Iowa State is to be half as successful as you have been recently.

I'm a member of most of the Big XII boards... other than Baylorfans, Shaggy Bevo and CyFans are my favorites because the posters are both smart and funny. I usually give a pass to the crazy true believers... kind of like I do most FB posts from Tea Party nuts... but some things that are blatantly false and are posted as truth still get to me...

I think most of you guys are great... I really respect most of your fan base and your players in both football and in basketball...

Honestly I bet Baylor enjoys their trophy more than their tailgating. I don't know why Jaime is making fun of their tailgating when it's raining and it's cold for Texans. They are a small private school I didn't expect them to have as nice tailgating as we do.

Everyone...not just Baylor fan, but EVERYONE is amazed at the way your fans continue to support a football program that hasn't done anything to earn your support in decades... it's amazing. But to pretend that this picture in any way represents the normal Baylor fan or Baylor tailgate is just ********...

10 to 17 inches of rain in Central Texas in the 24 hours prior to kickoff... Interstate 35 from Dallas to Waco, Interstate 35 from Austin to Waco and Interstate 45 from Houston to Waco all had sections that were shut down by flooded areas...

Why not just be proud that your kids played their *** off against #2 in the nation and left with some self respect and a QB that they can rally behind for the rest of the season?

You must be new here. That's our AD for you, couldn't hire a quality coach even if one sat in front of him (Harbaugh/Briles). He has an ego even though he thoroughly promotes a losing culture. He is the problem not the solution.
