TCU wasn't a top 10 team.

Look, it looks like putting in Barnett was the right call, but can we please use actual facts instead of making **** up?

He never said they were a top ten team...he said top ten defense. Which is an actual fact.

In our offense he may be the better QB. His limitations were more inline with what we are not good at as a team anyways, and he did better at not marginalizing what we are decent at.

A W on the road against a ranked team- heck of a win. Has to feel good for JB doing it in his home state too.

Spot on post from someone on the subject finally.

It is amazing that the guy who lead Iowa State to the biggest victory in school history as a freshman with ~300 yds passing turns out to not be a terrible player.

Actually if you ask me it was a well put together gameplan, we ran misdirection plays, used motion, RAN A TRICK PLAY.... We came and made the defense have to think and react to what we were doing... We haven't done that all year... JB, SJ or SR, we would have won that game... We used multiple formations, we actually did things to try to confuse the defense... That's why we won...

Some of you are just immature brats that would rather pick a stupid fight than celebrate a huge win.

I couldn't care less who plays QB. We won.

Shut the **** up you sissy little morons.

Go State.

We need to win Big 12 games. The simple fact is Steele has never won a Big 12 game.

I'm not saying we should go back to SJ, but I think its too early to make that call. I thought we escaped quite a few first half turnovers. Could have easily been a 3 turnover first half and then we'd be hearing all about how stupid it was to make the switch. Not saying either is right. But if TCU had made us pay for those first half mistakes, this is a different conversation. Seemed much better in that second half though.

defensively, yes, they were a top 10 defense heading into this game. Maybe they aren't great, but we struggled against another "top 10 defense" in Tech last week.

This thread is dunb. Obviously ue is better. Jantz vs two bad teams this year put up 13 and 9 points and threw. 7 interceptions. Not only that when he gets in the open field he seems to just fall over for some reason

So if he is not the better QB we win that game with Steele. Good QBs have more than just the ability to throw it far and accurate. They have to read the defense, run, not turn it over, and ect. Why can some of you just not admit you were wrong about Steele? I have said it before, he was a walk on at Hawaii, there was a reason why he was a walk on at a school like Hawaii. Barnett is the smart QB out of the two. He knows his abilities and utilizes them to his strengths and this offenses strengths. I will take that over a guy who can throw far and make some occasional spectacular plays any day of the week.

Part of a quarterback's skillset is leadership. Barnett is the better leader.

I think this is it. Almost all of the plays Barnett made today were there for the taking because everybody on offense did their job. Therefore, he didn't have to do anything spectacular.

It seems when Jantz is in there our offensive line doesn't block and receivers are disinterested.
