There's virtually no way that Arizona doesn't end up as the #1 in Anaheim. So I wondered what about playing Arizona in southern California marks the easiest way for us to win.

Also noticed that Wichita St. would have to face Oklahoma St. in the SECOND round. That is a TOUGH second round game for a number 1 seed.

We might be an underdog to Dook because it's Dook, but I would immediately pencil ISU into the Final 4 on my brackets if this were it.

I'd be moving every mountain I could to put together Dallas plans, ready to execute should it happen.
I made the 1989 Final Four, and that experience is amazing.
It can only be more amazing when it's a Cyclone Final Four.

Wow. Baylor finishes 7th in the conference (of 10) and might end up with a 7 seed. Amazingly strong conference. I really thing the Big 12 will do some damage in this tournament. At least they'd better!

Any chance the committee matches us up with Iowa in round 2? Given they are likely a 10-11 seed and we are a 3-4 seed that gives us a 20% chance or so to see Iowa in round 2? Would the committee do that? Honestly I know Iowa is awful right now but I would hate that. I have an uneasy feeling that Iowa turns it around and gets to at least round 2.

I watched an interview from a previous committee member on SportsCenter yesterday - they don't do these things intentionally. They just don't have the time or the desire to intentionally set these kinds of matchups up, no matter what the conspiracy theorists say.

ISU definitely deserves to be considered for a 2 seed if they win tonight. However, more importantly, they deserve to EITHER play in St. Louis the First Weekend or to be in the Midwest or South Region with a shot for the Sweet 16 in Indianapolis or Memphis. That being said, the most important component is WINNING tonight!

Let's Go State!
