I understand people's concerns about some bad throws and inconsistency. But am I the only one who feels like Lanning is really good at knowing how much time he has, that internal clock in his head, I thought he did good on that aspect.

Yeah, his pocket awareness was good pretty much from the get-go, and that's uncommon for a young, inexperienced starter.

But for him it all comes down to being consistently accurate. I hope he can get better in that area. He has the build and arm strength to be a damn good dual threat QB, and from what little we saw of him last year it seems like the team will get behind him as the leader on offense.

A team getting behind a qb is key. Especially if ISU is going to knock off some teams that they have to score 30+ to win those games. I look for his dual threat ability to be a huge factor in Warren getting loose. Joel holds different players accountable in a RPO heavy offensive system. I'd love to see 3x1 formations with Lazard on the single wr side. Lazard gets single coverage, let it rip. If Lazard has a FS bracketing him, Warren, Ryen, Lanning have an advantage.

Along with that is Joel's ability to run the read plays. Very good for a you QB. If our O line struggles, that could really help them out
