But with that new big ass bridge, couldn’t you still accomplish the halftime beer? It can’t be that much father. Especially if your on the east side of the jack
Jamie could fix this issue by selling beer at the stadium. But you can’t use the same goobers that normally man the concession stands. Staff the beer stands with people who know how to serve beer quickly.

What, like Jamie hasn’t made it Crystal clear that he’s never, ever going to sell beer at the stadium?

which when WVU copied our stadium...why they basically made their press box the same size makes no sense to me...they should've learned from our mistakes
WVU “copied” our stadium because their AD Bob Marcum was an ISU Associate AD when Cyclone Stadium was built and he asked for our blue prints. WVU didn’t copy our press box because Cyclone Stadium’s press area was still on the east concourse where the suites are now. Maybe ISU copied the WVU press box?

I’ve served beer in the stadium multiple times…. Check that. More like hard liquor.
Me too. I think it would keep more people in their seats during halftime. The band would appreciate that. Maybe give the band the beer profits.

If it's a nice day before an evening game, I just slip a beer in my back pocket and tie my sweatshirt around my waist. It gives me one to sip on while watching the game. Discretion counts.

I'm old enough to remember when the student section openly carried wine skins into the games wrapped around their necks. Those were usually filled with whiskey then you had the mix man stop and sell you a pop and you were good to go for the quarter , half, game whatever.

When the new stadium opened, we carried in plastic gallon milk jugs filled with keg beer. Back then they only cared about items that could be thrown onto the field, like oranges.

1st touchdown of the season "Orange Bowl Bound Baby!!" The entire student section would throw them into the N end zone. The cheerleaders would move out of the way they knew what was coming.

I know some folks who REALLY dislike the move of the RV lots. I don't quite understand it. I don't own one or anything but have spent a lot of time through the years in the RV area. Do people on here who buy those spots hate it or what are the other thoughts about this from those directly effect?

What I can understand is no liking the separation of the RV lots from the normal lots. I have friends with an RV and I can stop by their tailgate on the way to the stadium from my tailgate location and see them. This would no longer be the case.

What, no 3D flyover in the video?
On a serious note, that looks like they are playing catch up to the old Bergstrom (which they link to at the bottom of the page). No comparison to our new SPC!

PS Thanks for the link!
I do gotta give it to West Virginia, I really liked the facility comparison thing they had at the bottom of that page. I would’ve expected it to be more biased, but it gave a pretty good overview of the facilities at each school.

I checked the webcam when I woke up. Just curious whether they were working on the fill today. I found myself struck by what should have been a gorgeous early morning image of the scene, the morning sunlight creating stark
Impressions…if it wasn’t for that same sunlight obliquely hitting a filthy camera lens. 9FD17B61-44F6-45AE-A2D7-7C6F03AFD42C.jpeg

It was a nice presentation, but it was certainly a sales pitch to their donor base/legislature. Give us the resources to keep up!!!! Especially with us. :D

Yesterday, I took this picture to show the build-out being done under the walkway In front of The Jacobson; zoom in for a better view. The supports will be hidden, everything will be connected and not look added onto, and they are getting a lot of inexpensive space which otherwise would not have been utilized.
