Wait so Kade didn’t get a DUI? He didn’t get arrested on multiple charges?

This was all about long?

Charged with Mopery, am I right?
Close, coming back from Omaha on a Sunday night picked up a couple fraternity brothers that were too drunk to drive them selves. Got pulled over they were passed out in the back. Cop saw a half a twelve of Best light on the floor between them. I was charged with making beer available to minors.

Duh, you were supposed to go back 6 pages, remember from 3 months ago, or be able to read CyDude16's mind.

It's your fault you didn't understand.

We have many more active members on the Wrestling Forums in the past couple years which is great. But man some of the whining going on is so petty, reminds me of the Football or Political boards.

We're a whiney fanbase.

Crazy you’d think high schoolers are out at the bars assaulting a bartender, like the post that I quoted!
Having grown up around small town wrestling culture, that thought really isn't a stretch at all. Especially with Blume's history of really bad behavior and people's willingness to let it slide because he's a good athlete.

Small town bars usually double as restaurants and it's not hard at all for a high schooler to enter or be on the premises. If they were already drunk when they got there, I can easily someone like Blume/in his position being arrested for all of the charges Long was.

Feel like Roland Story isn’t the same as other small towns given it’s proximity to Ames, and central Iowa.

Price of success and this program needs a little of that.

I'm not that familiar with Roland or Story City (other than stopping at the gas stations/exit a million times) but it's really easy for me to imagine a scenario where a high school wrestler gets drunk and assaults a bartender.

Yeah I would say 30% of my high school class was routinely going to bars in iowa city at 17 and 18.

I don't know, in the good old days when I was a toddler, spent a lot of time in small town bars as a high schooler.

One of the benefits of being a boomer.

I'm not even talking about that.

I'm talking about going into a small town bar and grill while the kitchen's still open and it's completely legal/acceptable for an 18 year old to be there. Cocky d-bag hot shot HS wrestler is already drunk and thinks he's going to get served. Bartender knows who he is and refuses to serve him. Hot head kid is mad and comes after the bartender.

This isn't even a little far fetched. I have literally seen this exact scenario happen in northern Iowa.

Its not impossible but I doubt it in Story City. SC has 1 bar the size of thumbs and a Mexican restaurant. Thats it.
