Kansas Game Plan

The key this game is how many guys the Clones will send to the offensive boards. We're a weaker team than Kansas. We have to be willing to take risks that we didn't have to against the UMKCs of the world, and that means going for broke on offensive rebounds. I'd like to see three guys in the paint when a shot goes up instead of the one that we've seen in recent games. So what if you give up more transition buckets. We're going to have trouble stopping Kansas in its half court offense anyway.

I actually think defensive rebounding is way more important. KU grabbed nearly 50% of the boards (15/31) on their end last game. In addition to the 20 pt second chance differential, ISU had fewer opportunities to score in transition.
