Didn't the NCAA make the announcement about the Baylor DE appeal for a 6th year last week? If the second signing day had any bearing wouldn't they have waited for that announcement as well?

I wouldn't look for announcement until signing day.

Just curious...why do you think that? And why would it be significant? Its not like another qb will sign or not sign I wouldn't think, because we all know they can get out of their LOI's anyway.

To steer from the loads of gifs this thread has become I'll share my very unpopular opinion.

If Kempt were to play for a conference opponent and receive his 6th year waiver, this fan base (including myself) would be up in arms over the decision.

As much as I want Kyle back, I don't see how there is any real justification for Kempt getting a 6th year. If the NCAA starts granting these types of waivers, where does it stop?

Now, bring on the negative reactions.
