If Mayfield was given another year, I might question the logic., but Kempt is pretty far from a all conference QB. I think most opposing fans would be pretty fine with it.

From what I've read on message boards and heard from a lot of my Hok friends, they were more afraid of Park coming back than Kempt. Seems they think Park was a lot better. Meh.

I don't think anyone is denying that Park has better athleticism and possibly upside if he could keep his head on straight....but.....

Kempt is just a cool headed guy that doesn't get too high or too low. Reminded me a lot of Sage.

Yes, not sure of when the decision and appeals all happened. Point was really that the NCAA takes a long time and it's tough to project that taking this long is good or bad news.

He applied in December but if I remember correctly there were multiple appeals.

That's an impressive answer, although if posted on 1/30, and championship game is 12/1, that is only 305. Pretty damn close, so I grant it.
