Testifying
Dana just said he thinks a 250k fine and 4-6 month suspension from Nevada. Basically the normal amount of time off between fights anyway. That’s what he is hoping for.
So does that money go to charity or pockets?

So here's what I think the UFC needs to work/hope for:

1. Diaz beat Poirier
2. You get Ferguson and Khabib set up for Jan/Feb.
3. Winner there fights Diaz for the title. You hope that it's Khabib or Diaz coming through.
4. Loser of 2 gets Mcgregor or you give them to Kevin Lee and Poirier gets McGregor a little earlier
5. In the end, you hope this leads to a Khabib/Diaz title fight and really you probably hope it's Diaz. There really aren't bad options there especially if you have Lee/McGregor/Poirier sitting around in the case of an injury while Diaz, Ferguson and Khabib settle the title between the three. There's probably 3-4 years worth of fights there considering none are that old and you could have the belt going back and forth all the time.

Lightweight is such a good division 1-10. You really can’t go wrong anywhere there

I would like to address @ufc. Why didn’t you fire anyone when their team attacked the bus and injured a couple of people? They could have killed someone there, why no one says anything about insulting my homeland, religion, nation, family?

Why do you have to punish my team, when both teams fought. If you say that I started it, then I do not agree, I finished what he had started.

In any case, punish me, @zubairatukhugov has nothing to do with that. If you think that I’ll keep silent then you are mistaken. You canceled Zubaira’s fight and you want to dismiss him just because he hit Conor. But don’t forget that it was Conor who had hit my another Brother FIRST, just check the video.

if you decide to fire him, you should know that you’ll lose me too. We never give up on our brothers in Russia and I will go to the end for my Brother. If you still decide to fire him, don’t forget to send me my broken contract, otherwise I’ll break it myself.

And one more thing, you can keep my money that you are withholding. You are pretty busy with that, I hope it won’t get stuck in your throat. We have defended our honor and this is the most important thing. We intend to go to the end.

Wowsers..... this just keeps getting deeper and apparently is far from over. Dana White has his hands full here.

Yep. Also, Josh Thompson his training partner said before that fight he though Khabib would retire after a win and he wasn't joking. Khabib don't give a crap. He has Dana's hands tied.

Does he? Khabib's not fighting that much longer anyway. He's also boring. So all you really have is an undefeated record which is a hell of a thing but people barely cared about Khabib before the Conor stuff. Obviously it's not good for him to leave but it's not some huge problem. The one caveat is if you want a Russia fight, which isn't likely to happen with CM now.

For being such a badass fighter, Khabib is kind of a little ***** about this other stuff. They should all be punished but you can't jump into a ring and attack a fighter, not to mention the most marketable fighter the UFC has and just expect to move on. Also, telling someone to keep two million bucks is wild. I suspect he knows that won't happen so he's posturing like he always does. One more thing: If you want to hold on to moral high ground all the time, you need to find new people to surround yourself with.

I don't follow UFC but for some interest in the background of this fight, but it would sure appear this Khabib fellow is just a different dude. Looks to me like Dana has him figured as any other fighter-- manufacture animosity towards your opponent, beat each other up, collect checks, move on. But this dude appears to just want to beat the **** out of people, and any animosity does not appear manufactured.

I don't think Khabib gets the promotion part of this whole deal. I just think he simply cannot comprehend it and he's never fought anyone that does it so he takes it very personally. The thing is, though, that he took part in it too. The hypocrisy from him has just been a little irritating to me. They should both be punished here but equating CM hitting a guy jumping out to go presumably go after Danis to Khabib doing what he did and two other guys jumping CM is off base.

I agree he does not really understand it. The other part that is funny is all the stuff Khabib did is basically the same stuff Connor already did. He jumped out of the ring and went after Jose Aldo before they fought. Connor jumped into the ring and started going crazy in a Bellator ring and started pushing the ref and all kinds of other stuff. Difference is Connor get's what he is doing. Khabib is just a dude from the Mountains of Russia who takes it all personal.

I kind of quit paying attention. This is Nevada, not the UFC, holding back his purse right? I know Dana threatened the firings, but come on Khabib, they can't be jumping the golden boy.

He's Russian. He wrestled a bear when he was a young child. Yes, he's different.
To be honest, you have to be different to fight in the UFC. He's more different than most.

You know, I just saw the bear video and people really made that out to be more than it was. I was expecting a high schooler wrestling a much bigger bear.

It's more cute, than anything. It certainly qualifies as different. The point being that they are a different breed over there. To expect them to react to situations like people we know is absurd.

I get this and I agree but Khabib gets involved in this stuff. He was there for the Artem deal. He got into it with the Diaz brothers. He talked about Conor's grandfather (I think grandfather). So I just think him always talking about how humble he is and how different he is than these others guys is really inaccurate. Sure, he doesn't go to the depth others do, but you don't get to talk about doing one thing and then sometimes do the other and keep the high ground. Then you get into the guys he's involved with and that's a whole other story.
