to be fair, the sexual assault comment was a smart *** comment. I'm sure there are sports figures I like that are not good people (for example, I still kind of like Adrain Peterson.) I just don't like Kobe. It's the Iowa state fan in me.

I want to say the only time that has happened was one of the Rockets championship teams. Hakeem was the only all star on the team. Could be wrong though.

Love this argument. I haven't found anyone that's won multiple titles without having HOF/All star caliber players around them.

I would say Olajuwon is the closest to doing it.

That team was ridiculous. You could not stop Hakeem. I'd say that for those two years, I have never seen a more unstoppable player than Hakeem. And if you left one of the other four players, Hakeem WOULD find the open man, and that man would drain the three. It was just filthy.

My favorite Kobe moment is when Paul Pierce blocked him on a jump shot late in I believe the series-clenching game of the finals. I'm not sure if I've been more pumped about the NBA than that moment.

I mean there were A LOT of people who didn't think Kobe could win a title without Shaq. I didn't say he did it without any talent around him. He definitely carried those teams though.
