Lake Travis came in at #1 in the preseason class 4a rankings with a few mentions of DeLira. That was in either Friday's or Saturyday's Austin American Statesman. Haven't seen any mention of suspension.

Problem is that there aren't really anymore qbs to go after that are his caliber. We passed on a few others who have likely committed at this point. It's not like the kid killed someone.
I just don't think it should be kosher to spread anonymous derogatory third hand rumors about a HS kid.
bawbie, never said anything other than being told the kid did some stupid stuff and that he won't be playing for the first 4 or so games. Also noted that the LT faithful are really high on Charlie Brewer who older brother is a legend at LT and that most likely he will be starting in place of Dom until he serves out his punishment. How is that derogatory? Also, noted how from what my friend is telling me that Dom needs to grow up/mature and lastly stated I just wished we could find another Seneca Wallace. Geez what is with all of the hostility. If you don't want me to share what I am hearing that is fine by me. Oh btw, sounds like the next big time QB out of that part of the country is the sophomore Westlake starter for Coach Todd Dodge. Sam Ehlinger is the real deal from what I am also being told. Looks like the LT vs Westlake game this fall is shaping up to be a great one as always! Being told he is being compared to fellow Westlake star "Drew Brees!" That is saying something.

You did refer to off-field stupidity, which isn't out of bounds as far as I'm concerned, but then calling him an "idiot kid" who thinks that he's a god while also jabbing him for being the 2nd best QB on the team behind a sophomore - "Ouch!" - goes at least one step further.
This isn't an adult NFL professional that you're criticizing (anonymously, I might add). It's not even a college kid that you think you can rip on because you buy the tickets and pay for the cable packages that allow for his scholarship. This is a high school boy that apparently made a stupid mistake, and I bet that if you were his father, you'd be p***** at a poster coming in here and typing what you did in the OP. You can share what you know without lighting up a high schooler anonymously.
