Hate to pee in your Cheerios but I'm not expecting much at all from Kosango.

Lard ... I think he will be about what SHOULD have been the expectation. However because it took so long for him to get her, those expectations have been ramped up for one reason or another. Best case, he starts and is a good role player as a freshman. Worst case, he struggles to find PT. I find that hard to believe though based off of what Iowa State's front court looks likes heading into next year.

Remember, the plan is to add a fifth-year post too this offseason.

Just because guys pee on your closet floor doesn't mean you can pee in our cereal.

Lard was a 4 star, Young was a 3 star.

We just need them to play 20 minutes and give us 15 points and 10 rebounds each. With Lindell and Lewis we will be conference champs and a final 4 team.
15 and 10 each?? You mean 15 and 10 together, right? 15 and 10 would be all conference.

I still think 15 and 10 together is very optimistic. More than likely, they both won't be in the regular rotation. I'm gunna go out on a limb and say, if both Lard and Kasongo have significant roles next season, then Prohm failed again to find post help in the spring.

I'm not sure if that's better or worse than peeing on our dogs.

He's not being serious. I hope.

But for those high expectations he set, they would have to contribute that much to reach that level.

Kasongo's issue is mental, not physical. He is somewhat skilled and athletic but apparently he doesn't have the highest basketball IQ.

Lard will start next year. He'll be the Cyclone rim runner surprise.

any chance you can ask the coaching staff about Lard's skill level or talent in one of the upcoming press conferences or interviews? Also maybe ask where he needs to improve? thanks.
