We we also could have Albert Gary somehow be Sam's rival. It would be even better if we recruited a QB named Gary and he beat Sam at everything (sticks with the joke but also means ISU got a better QB).

WDM Valley @ Ames on Friday. Waukee @ WDM Dowling is the other West-side game. Winners go to the Dome for the semis next Friday.

In the East it is Bettendorf @ Pleasant Valley and Cedar Rapids Kennedy @ Cedar Rapids Xavier with the winners facing off next Friday in the other semifinal at the Dome.

I was lucky enough to reach the UNI dome when I played football. I would never trade that experience to play at a regular stadium even if the two schools are right next to each other. Reaching the UNI dome is a huge goal every high school football player has yearly in this state.

I'm more worried that we the Cyclones might be playing at the Ames High field next year, I think it'll be at least 4 more years until that's the case.

West has been dominating the East recently. I don't think Xavier could beat Dowling, Valley, or Ames. Maybe Waukee, but their twin runningbacks are insanely good.

If Ames makes it past Valley and Dowling then they have it. That's a very tough draw.
