or Skip Bayless, just for the simple fact that he takes the most absurd stances on every situation just to argue for the sake of arguing.

ok now that I'm thinking about it, there are a TON of people on there I don't like:

Berman
Bayless
**** Vitale
Jim Rome
Mark Schlereth
Keyshawn Johnson
Lee Corso
Lou Holtz
Digger Phelps
Tony Kornheiser
Cris Carter
Tedy Bruschi
the guy that does sports science
Joe Morgan
John Kruk
Jon Gruden (I like him, just not as a broadcaster)
Ron Jaworski
Stephen A. Smith
Matt Millen
Stu Scott (just because he was dumb enough to get hit by a football jug machine)
and I'm sure there's more....

I'm sure ESPN hires these "edgy" presenters on purpose, knowing full well they'll not have a lengthy shelf life before moving on to something that better showcases their personalities. I present Craig Kilborn, Dan Patrick, Keith Olbermann, etc as examples. I agree with others that Chris Berman, Stuart Scott, etc. have lost their appeal, but probably have nowhere else to turn.

The only things I really still enjoy are the college football and basketball studio shows. They take Lou Holtz too far with some of the "bits" (Dr. Lou is awful), but I love Reece Davis, Lou Holtz & Mark May in studio. Lee Corso goes too far with the mascot head thing, but I like the interaction between he and Kirk Herbstreit. From the basketball side, I really enjoy Doug Gottlieb...

even though I like the show, I'd like an honorable mention for Sports Reporters regulars Mike Lupica and Mitch Albom. I know they aren't analysts, but they are on more than lots of guys talked about.

I believe this is a loaded question, since most if not all of these people are amongst the most annoying people on the planet, but I digress.

I'm watching the US Open and I just can't help my disdain for Chris Berman, and he's being somewhat tame.

Any others that jump out?

Avery Johnson and Eduardo Perez. Horrible.

It's kinda sad to think that at one point in my life I watched this channel religously. I can honestly say that I haven't watched Sportscenter for a long time.

If I turn on ESPN at all it's to watch the actual event, like someone else said. I find myself watching the NFL and MLB networks more than anything else.

That being said, if Dicky V was to choke on his glass eye I wouldn't be upset.

Mel Kiper. No bigger blowhard around. Next time he's on count how many times he begins a sentence with,"You talk about..."

Sorry, forgot about Steven A Smith. The most raciest person on TV.

Racy? Like nude photos and BDSM? :biglaugh:

Or did you mean racist? Which you actually probably meant 'prejudice'

I also disagree

I don't love Steven A's style necesarily but it's just his way of being noticed and different, like Rome but different
