Cody Larson is a stud Bball Player and was by far Iowa's best recruit in a top 25 recruting class. Lick said he was not in the least bit concerned about the minor trouble this year and was in the wrong place at the worng time. He is a good character guy from everything I hear. What a steal to get this type of player this late. Van Coleman raves about his ability 6'9 very athletic PF I think he is currently rated like #34 player. GMAC should be calling him ASAP..

You can be sure as the sun rising in the eastern sky, that if he commits to ISU, Mr. Coleman will be singing a different song.

Dont be suprised if South Dakota State pushes hard for him. They just had 4 scholarship spots open up due to people quitting or transfering. You might think that sounds funny he would consider SDSU but from the way I hear it, they could be a strong player for him. They signed Jordan Dykstra so what makes them uncapable of signing a player 45 minutes away like Larson?

I wasn't a huge fan of him when I found some AAU tape on him from his sophomore year, but I've heard he's grown and improved since then, so we'll see.

To be honest, at this point I would be happy with us getting the guy that D'd me up at the Field House here in Iowa City to play with us and stick it out for a few years, so that would make me thrilled to get this guy.

How did iowa have a top 25 recruiting class? i didnt see anything special from it. i would take ours over theirs anyday. DeMarcus and Ejim are beasts.

The way I've read it seems to say that Iowa granted him his release so he could work out whatever it is that he has going on, but that they're still pretty interested.
