This depresses me. She was my favorite. Skilled in all facets of the game.
Which makes it all the more weird that he tolerated that other player for 4 years.I still haven't fully gotten over the Schroll situation. She was a Fritz type who played hard and with an attitude, and for some reason Bill kept chewing her out for what seemed like nothing.
"The Iowa State way" is a cave topic that's known by recruits, families, and other schools.I'm probably jaded from watching the nepotism in Iowa City but whenever I hear talk of "family" and "the Iowa State way" coming out of our WBB program it just smacks of an unhealthy possessiveness.
Like, if one of our players has an issue, who is she going to turn to? The coach's son is an assistant, his other assistants have all been with him for decades, his AD is ten thousand percent loyal to him.
These "families" are great when you're in one, and terrible when you find yourself outside one.

I know this for a fact from an opposing trainer.
There may be other factors into "the Iowa State way" but I specifically know one.I can guess what you're getting at here, but I'm not really clear on what kind of signal this is supposed to be to recruits. And other schools for that matter. Like, how does this manifest itself on a daily basis?
And how does it drive players out like Lexi claimed by the above 89poster?I can guess what you're getting at here, but I'm not really clear on what kind of signal this is supposed to be to recruits. And other schools for that matter. Like, how does this manifest itself on a daily basis?
Yeah. Pretty sure it was highlighted in an ESPN a year or two ago. There may be other factors into "the Iowa State way" but I specifically know one.
I would be even more surprised if Emily
left. I spoke to a family member about 3 weeks ago and was told she's loves it and iowa state was a perfect fit.
I believe 89 vs. other posters are talking about two different aspects of Iowa State WayAnd how does it drive players out like Lexi claimed by the above 89poster?
Not following.I believe 89 vs. other posters are talking about two different aspects of Iowa State Way
I couldn’t agree more! Well said.um no........ it's deeper than that and don't be surprised if this isn't the last defection
Time to retire Bill...........and JP--clean house.
Get a talented young female coach like Jennie Baranczyk of OU. and an aggressive staff like the old days; i.e. Brenda Frese, Katie Abrahamson, Robin Pingeton.
All from eastern Iowa
Yeah jenny barancysk is just drooling at the opportunity to leave OU to come here. This thread has some genuine weirdos in it.I couldn’t agree more! Well said.
I never know what anyone is talking about but if one of these is what I think they are saying, ultimately JP has to do something about it, otherwise he’s no better than Barta.I believe 89 vs. other posters are talking about two different aspects of Iowa State Way
The riddle gets even worst because now we have two different “Iowa State Ways” lol.I believe 89 vs. other posters are talking about two different aspects of Iowa State Way
I can’t believe he wants a HawkYeah jenny barancysk is just drooling at the opportunity to leave OU to come here. This thread has some genuine weirdos in it.
Definitely something wrong with Lexi leaving, but as you say, the other three transfers are all very logical. With the other three, we have an extremely talented 5 person class coming in, they're being recruited over. It doesn't make sense to group Lexi with the others. Two of the transfers make sense. Graduate girls getting masters. The third makes sense in a plying time type situation. However 4 total transfers and the most experienced girl as one of them points to an issue. Especially since the women’s program has had so many transfers
Maybe we’re supposed to guess…too much overt religiosity? Some sort of racial thing? The riddle gets even worst because now we have two different “Iowa State Ways” lol.
Why is everyone so afraid to plainly explain what the **** does it mean?
Sorry I blew up… not necessarily directed at you.
