Sorry I grew up on a farm and find it a very necessary skill. Like someone else said, cool cars have paddle shifters and DSGs.
The last time I had a digital watch was when I was 13 and it had a calculator on it and got beaten up daily.
you obviously have never driven a nice car. why the hell would i want an automatic audi, bmw, mercedes, etc.
I can't believe any man would admit to not knowing how to drive a stick. :smile:I see no need for #2 for the vast majority of people. 95% of cars (I'm guessing) come with an automatic transmission. I've made it through 34 years of life w/o having to drive one, and I plan on continuing this trend for the rest of my life. Why would I learn to do something that is utterly and completely useless to me?

Let's say you rob a bank with a buddy and you ride in his car. Let's say your buddy gets shot or something and you run out to the getaway car and find out it's a stick. What you gonna do then? Huh? Huh?
Back up with a trailer, using your mirrors.
Nunchuck skills are necessary unless you feel you're not under the threat of ninja attack, which is exactly what the ninjas want you to think.
Stick shifts are for semis and sports cars. If you drive one outside of those exceptions, it's because you're poor, not unskilled.
Drop the money and run?
Don't drop it. You gotta take the money and run. Especially if you shoot a man while robbing his castle. Go on.

Depends on the weight. Money is heavy.
