I think there is an interesting argument to be made about winning with one-and-dones. To be fair though, alot of the Top 50 are not one-and-dones.

I think this is a bigger indicator of how the NCAA tournament, as fun and as awesome as it is, doesn't necessarily chose the best team. I think you'd be hard pressed to say Duke isn't one of the Top 4 teams in America. Bagley, Carter, Clark, Duval and Allen are all first rounders. It's just the way the tournament fell that they didn't make it.

Good reminder there that Lewis was #61 in his class after Wigginton at #39.

That is higher than THT at #76 right now, though you figure he is going to rise.

Or we can look at 247 rankings (which are much better) and see that Kansas had De Sousa (technically a 2018 recruit but arrived early) and Villanova had Jermaine Samuels in the top 50 composite.

And then we also see that Azubuike for Kansas was top 50 in 2016
Omari Spellman for Villanova was top 50 in 2016
Jalen Brunson for Villanova was top 50 in 2015
Malik Newman for Kansas was top 50 in 2015
