Morning moisture seems to have decreased significantly. However, if this thing goes long at all, it's gonna start to get dicey real quick

We ended up with around .8" in North Ames at 8:30 this morning. Had to drive on some gravel roads, what difference a little moisture makes! At least they were moist, the level B road I drove by looked quite "juicy".

Tailgate is trending dryer than earlier in the week, but it sure appears there will be a lot of cloud watching late Friday to kickoff. Possible pop-up shower but the big event coming near the end of the game

Yeah just missed it by a day as the High on Sunday is suppose to be 64 degrees.

Exactly like the first game - scorcher on Saturday then perfect weather on Sunday.

Looks like pretty much all rain now moved back to 6 pm or later.

Weatherbug is my go to and it shows 30% in morning, just cloudy during game with rain coming back in after game.

I'm in Quad Cities and channel 6 news here says rain during game in Ames - expect delays.

I will be there regardless.
